Good morning! Hope you all slept like a queen! I know I did! :) Today I'm starting the day with a meeting with our "client", we got the new brief yesterday and I'm so pumped to get to work! Later at lunch I will have another meeting with no other than World Market Stockholm, and Joseph will aslo join <3 What we are gonna talk about you will see later! :)
I picked my favourite pieces from Filippa K and thought I would share them with you. I'm really into that black sweater on the "forth line/row" of pictures. Even though everything is quite expensive here, I think it's worth saving for, a piece from Filippa K will last a lot longer than something from H&M for example. This is something I'm struggling with a lot though, it's hard not to buy that nice and trendy garment from one of the cheeper stores when you can afford. But I'm really trying to talk with myself to avoid buying all these things that won't last for long. The past year I've really been changing my point of view on the clothing industry, or rather, I now have more knowledge of how it really works. But for me at least, it's not a change I can do over a night. It will have to come gradually, and I reckon, that as along as I'm doing small changes and is conscious about the problem, that is better than doing nothing at all.
Approximately three pieces from H&M would be that one sweater from Filippa K and then I would have that sweater for a lot longer and it would be much more friendly to the environment and the society. When I put it like that the choice is pretty easy.
Just some morning thoughts! :)
Wishing you a fantastic day!
